Roasted Parmesan Cabbage

Typically, I eat cabbage as coleslaw. It is my favorite way to prepare cabbage. The other way I eat cabbage is boiled once a year for St. Patty’s Day boiled dinner. However, I came across this new way of preparing cabbage: Roasted Parmesan Cabbage.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of olive oil

  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced.

  • 1/2 tsp of paprika

  • 1/2 tsp of onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes

  • 1/4 cup of shredded parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven in 400 degrees.

  2. Slice cabbage into wedges, between 8-12 slices.

  3. Place on a lined baking sheet (either parchments paper or aluminum foil).

  4. Mix oil, garlic, paprika, onion powder, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.

  5. Brush wedges with the oil mixture.

  6. Bake for 20 minutes, flip and cook for another 10-15 minutes until edges are golden brown.

  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle with shredded cheese.

Pair with savory chicken or grilled beef and enjoy.
